Highveld Pack
Highveld Pack focuses on dry dust, heat, and airflow issues that often appear once regular cutting becomes the norm.

How Highveld Pack works across a production week
Highveld Pack is intended for inland workshop conditions where dry dust, heat and airflow can affect machine performance. It focuses on the issues that usually appear once daily cutting becomes routine on the Highveld.
Dry MDF dust, hotter afternoon temperatures, longer cable runs and extractor placement can all change how a router or profile cell behaves over a full cutting day. We look at the machine, sheet size, duty cycle and freight destination together so the setup suits customer work headed into Gauteng and other inland areas.
A photo of the machine area before changes is worth keeping with the job file. Highveld Pack adds a short machine-side note covering dust points, airflow direction and the checks to repeat after a shutdown or a busy batch run. That record helps the operator return to known settings instead of reopening old faults from memory.
Highveld workshop handover
The pack is built around routing conditions that show up after daily production becomes routine. It sets out where dust collection needs attention, which machine checks matter before a longer run, and how material handling affects space around the bed. Written notes stay focused on the actual machine and work mix rather than theory.
Use Highveld Pack alongside the relevant machine information before adding extra scope or accessories. Confirm the model, bed size, power supply and transport details before paperwork or parts leave Somerset West. Tell the Somerset West team the material and sheet size you plan to cut, and we will match a router, CO₂ laser or profile cell.
- Dust and airflow checks for inland use
- Machine area photo kept with records
- Machine-specific notes for workshop planning
Inland production conditions considered
Highveld Pack takes into account dry air, fine dust build-up, extractor routing and shared workshop space where routing, packing and assembly happen close together. Material loading space and sheet movement are checked against the machine footprint, not guessed from a standard layout. Freight planning also matters when larger router components or completed units must travel inland.
Inland heat and dust usually change cleaning frequency around rails, covers, cable tracks and extraction points. Load-shedding can interrupt longer jobs, so restart checks and job sequencing need to be part of the plan before production settles into a weekly rhythm. A machine viewing should show dust handling, airflow and access around the bed, not only spindle movement.

Highveld Pack working notes
Useful for inland customer work where machine choice, material size and freight planning all matter.
File the Highveld Pack notes with the machine record while observations are still fresh. Keep them with job sheets, service checks and workshop photos so the buyer, operator or manager can trace what was checked for inland running conditions.
