Sunnyrock Pack

A Sunnyrock packing and cutting setup planned around throughput, bench space, and access to the machine bed.

How Sunnyrock packing floors run in a normal week

Sunnyrock Pack sets out a packing and cutting layout for a Sunnyrock workshop. It gives proper space to throughput, bench work and access to the machine bed during normal production.

Sunnyrock Pack centres on a packing and cutting bay where sheet stock, benches, and the machine bed do not fight for the same strip of space. Board size, trolley movement, offcut stacking, and operator reach all matter when cartons, labels, and cut parts must move through one workshop. In Somerset West conditions, dust build-up, damp mornings, and power interruptions need to be considered before the layout is fixed.

Send the first workshop photo before any layout sketch is fixed. Sunnyrock Pack uses that image to place benches, stacking space, and safe reach to the machine bed for sheet handling. A short printed note next to the CNC router or laser helps staff reset stops, boards, and cut files after a power interruption or shift change.

Bench and bed arrangement

Packing benches need to sit in the right relation to the cutter so staff can lift, stack, tape, and inspect without blocking sheet loading. Keep enough working gap around the machine bed for cleaning, tool changes, and recovering small parts. The result is a layout that supports steady output instead of forcing constant bench shuffling.

Use Sunnyrock Pack together with the relevant machine notes before changing aisle widths or bench count.

  • Packing benches placed clear of loading
  • Machine bed kept reachable on all sides
  • Current setup photos sent with measurements

Workshop conditions around Somerset West

Sunnyrock-style packing work often means cut parts, flat board, tape stations, and dispatch prep sharing one room. Older workshops can have low light, patched concrete, and awkward columns that affect trolley travel and safe stacking heights. Where a CNC router, CO₂ laser, or profile cell is part of the process, access for maintenance cannot be sacrificed just to gain one more bench.

Near the coast, moisture can affect MDF storage and carton condition if stock is left against a wall or too close to a roller door. Fine dust from repeated cutting settles quickly on rails, vacuum areas, and electrical covers, so sweep-out space must remain open. During load-shedding, restart checks should include work holding, zero position, and whether half-packed orders are mixed with fresh output.

What to send for planning

Send Sunnyrock floor photos, timing requirements, forklift or loading notes, and what part of the present machine setup is already failing. Keep the subject line clear.

Record the demo note on the same day while cut settings, sheet size, and sample parts are still easy to verify. For Sunnyrock Pack, pair the demo job sheet with the material list so a buyer can see what the machine produced, how it was nested, and what bench space was needed around the bed.
